Our Sweet Santa Lucia

Mateo's side of the family is part Swedish and he grew up celebrating Santa Lucia in his home. We have continued this tradition and since Ella Paris is our only princess, she gets to be Santa Lucia EVERY year - she loves it! We gather and sing Santa Lucia and eat our favorite Swedish abelskivers.

  2. Your posts are wonderful! Thanks for sharing Sarah. These are all such great pictures and get me excited for Christmas too. And I'm excited to see what else you will post.

And, I love abelskivers! David's family eats them twice a year for General Conference. We cook them with applesauce in the middle. So good!

I was at the beach and decided I better wait until I got home before writing. Just think, you are going to receive even more emails!!! Ah, such a thrill to see our children continue on with this tradition of Santa Lucia Day...the family photo all in white is simply fabulous!!
